Dr. Harvey Partridge opened Partridge Animal Hospital in October of 1978. He said he has always wanted to be a veterinarian “from six years old on.” He was raised in the small town of Mount Dora, FL and was surrounded by farms, ranches and orange groves.
Having studied at the University of Florida’s College of Agriculture, Dr. Partridge earned a B.S. in Animal Science. He graduated from the University of Florida in 1970 and was the recipient of the Cattlemen’s Association Scholarship. Before attending veterinary school, Dr. Partridge was a ranch manager in Ocala.
In 1974, Dr. Partridge received his DVM from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, and today, has a special interest in surgery and internal medicine. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Florida Veterinary Medical Association, and the Pinellas County Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Partridge has a Labrador Retriever named “Annie”. He enjoys fishing, flying, sailing, scuba diving and traveling.
