Hospital Manager and Certified Technician Jane Hamblin has been with Partridge Animal Hospital since August of 1995. She helps us with staff scheduling, ordering supplies, hiring staff, managing the hospital, and assisting in just about any other place where she’s needed.

“I love working here because the doctors are great! The doctors take on very challenging cases, both medical and surgical,” Jane said about the atmosphere at Partridge Animal Hospital. “So, it is like working at a referral hospital but with great clients, that we see on a regular basis.” She’s always ready to learn something new. Jane started as a veterinary assistant and became a certified technician in 1997. She has an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology from St. Petersburg College.

Jane has two dogs, “Ellie” and “Gracie”; and five cats, “Rocco,” “Archie,” “Longo,” “Desi,” and “Roger”. (Four of the cats are named after Tampa Bay Rays players.) She is married with three children, and she loves attending her children’s sporting events, watching The Rays play, going to the movies and spending time with her family.

Jessica BestJessica Best

Certified Veterinary Technician Jessica Best has been with us since March of 2011. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems and an Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology from St Petersburg College. Jessica makes sure that we have the supplies needed to keep the hospital running. In addition, she makes sure we have all the medications needed to keep your pets happy and healthy.

“The doctors empower the technicians to do what we’re trained to do,” Jessica said about why working at Partridge Animal Hospital is so satisfying. “What’s best for the animal is always top priority.”

Jessica has a 5 year old dog, “Pandora” and a 14 year old cat, “Rocky”. In April of 2013, Jessica and her husband welcomed their first child, Kaleb, into their family. She enjoys being with family and friends, travel, boating and watching Green Bay Packers football.

Trevor BridgeTrevor Bridge

Veterinary Assistant, Trevor Bridge , has been with Partridge Animal Hospital since April 2015. He has a Bachelor of Sciences in Coastal Environmental Science from The University of North Florida.

Trevor is a very ambitious learner and is always around to lend a helping hand. He has a very positive, outgoing personality and loves creating special bonds with our clients and patients.

“I love that our staff cares for every patient as if it were their own pet. We have such friendly and personable relationships with our clients. Our doctors are very thorough and genuine. Everyone here at Partridge animal hospital is so dedicated, compassionate, and kind.”

In his spare time, Trevor enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and camping. He also likes taking his two dogs to the beach. He has a Pit Bull named “Chloe” and a Chihuahua named “Diesel.”

Kim JohnsonKim Johnson

Office Manager, Kim Johnson, has been with Partridge Animal Hospital since August 2010 and has worked professionally with animals since 2005. She has worked as a veterinary assistant, kennel technician, and grooming assistant. Kim answers our phones, checks our patients and clients in and out, and makes appointments. Her nickname is “Sunshine” – and for good reason! “I like all aspects of my job,” said Kim.

Kim received a license from the Sarasota School of Massage Therapy.

She has two dogs at home: “Rylee” and “Hunter” and a domestic short hair cat named “Bentley Diablo.” Kim enjoys movies, road trips, cruises, the beach, football games, batting cages, reading, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, jet skiing, fishing, camping, arts and crafts, mud runs, and working out.

Danielle LaCasseDanielle LaCasse

Certified Veterinary Technician Danielle LaCasse has been with Partridge Animal Hospital since January 2011 and has been working professionally with animals for more than 10 years. She assists with wound care, surgery, bloodwork and cytologies. Danielle has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and an Associate’s Degree from St. Petersburg College in Veterinary Technology. She is a Certified Veterinary Technician through the Florida Veterinary Technician Association.

“Every day presents itself with new and interesting challenges,” Danielle said about life at the clinic. “I’m constantly learning and improving and updating my skillset and knowledge in this field.”

Danielle has a 4-year old Weimeraner, named “Tash,” a 5-year old Yorkie, named “Hodge,” and a domestic short hair cat, named “Puma.” She enjoys photography, surfing, scuba diving, sailing and learning Italian.

Certified Veterinary Technician Brandi Littlefield has been with Partridge Animal Hospital since July of 2007 and works with the veterinarians assisting in orthopedic surgeries, dentals, client education, surgery prep and labwork. Brandi has an Associate’s Degree from St. Petersburg College and is certified with the Florida Veterinary Technician Association.

Brandi has two cats, “Zipper” and “Velcro.” She spends some of her spare time volunteering at the Florida Aquarium, and also enjoys traveling and going to the movies.

Veterinary Technician Amber Porphy has been with Partridge Animal Hospital since May of 2015.  She has an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology from the Veterinary Technician’s Institute of Houston as well as an Associates degree in Criminal Justice.  Amber is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.  She has served overseas in Iraq to support Operation Enduring Freedom, as well as Operation Iraqi Freedom.Amber has become an integral part of the staff here at PAH. Patient care and quality of medicine is her top priority.

” I love being a part of a team that holds themselves to such high standards,” Amber said about working here at the clinic.  “The team is so down-to-earth and caring. Every one is so genuine and concerned about each individual patient and owner.”Amber has a 14 year old Chihuahua named “Mikey” and a 5 year old Cane Corso named “Arabelle.”  In her free time, she values spending time with her family, going to the gym, bike riding, hiking, and playing softball.

Certified Veterinary Technician Danielle Butterick joined us in 2012 and has been working with animals professionally for seven years. She assists with all facets of patient nursing. “The best part of what I do is being able to see our patients leave happy and healthy and knowing that I was a part of that,” Danielle said. She has an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology.

“I am very excited to work at a clinic with such great clients and patients and such a close-knit staff,”
she said about working at Partridge.

Danielle shares her home with two dogs, Jynx and Meko, three cats, Reno, Vegas, and Momma, as well as Jilly, her horse. Danielle and her husband welcomed their first child, Rilynn, in March of 2013. She relaxes by baking cakes for her nieces and nephews birthdays, and by going to the beach, hanging out with family and friends and horseback riding when she gets the chance.

Veterinary Technician, Jennifer Godwin, has been with Partridge Animal Hospital since March of 2013 and enjoys every part of her job!

She has worked with animals for 16 years through internships, volunteering, and jobs, and notes that her experience working with wild birds has come in handy when concerned clients call with questions about injured or orphaned birds. She has four years working as a hospital avian rehabilitation technician (Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary) and two years as a surgical assistant at the Animal Medical Center (NY).

“The relationship between the doctors and technicians [at Partridge Animal Hospital] is more family-like than anywhere I’ve ever worked. Our diagnostic equipment is topnotch, allowing our talented and knowledgeable doctors to treat all cases quickly and efficiently,” she explains.

Jennifer has two cats, Caspian and Gypsy; a ferret named Gadai (Gaelic for “thief”); two cockatiels, Raggedy Ann and Little Bit; and fish. In her free time she volunteers with Gulf Coast Bird Rescue, takes classes in circus aerial arts, fishes, and spends time at the beach.

Veterinary Technician Krista Campbell has been with Partridge Animal Hospital since May of 2013 and has been working professionally with animals for more than 6 years. Krista is very passionate about surgery. She has a fascination with learning new things every day and anxiously looks forward to new challenges. Krista is very ambitious and plans to use her education and experiences in the veterinary field to make a significant impact on the lives of our pets.

“I have such a strong sense of belonging here at PAH. We spend so much time together professionally & outside of work as "family.” We have cultivated a group of staff containing some of the most intelligent, compassionate, empowered, and progressive minds. We all work together cohesively, and most importantly we have fun!"

Krista has a Golden Doodle, named “Boomer,” a Golden Retriever, named “Riley,” and a gigantic cat, named “Scooter.” She enjoys swimming, volleyball, fishing, drawing, scuba diving, exploring in the woods (Florida doesn't have much to offer in that department), driving around in her Jeep, and laughing so hard it doubles as an abs work out.

Receptionist Jaime McKnight started working in the animal care field when she was fifteen years old. “My first job was cleaning kennels at the local vet,” she says. Jaime joined Partridge Animal Hospital in November of 2013, and says that her favorite part of the job is taking care of clients and their “fur kids.”

Outside of her position at Partridge Animal Hospital, Jaime is a full-time pet sitter, and runs Pawlicious Poochie Pet Rescue, a non-profit animal rescue. Jaime herself has several pets – “too many to name,” she says – including dogs, cats, rabbits, tortoises, and a pig. “I love being a part of the team at Partridge Animal Hospital,” she says. “Everyone loves what they do, and it shows!”

JenniJennifer Mardis

Receptionist Jennifer Mardis joined the Team at Partridge Animal Hospital in March 2014. Jennifer answers phones, greets clients and their fuzzy family members and works to help clients fit in appointments in their busy schedules. Jennifer’s favorite part of the job is getting to know clients and their fuzzy pet families.

In the past, Jennifer worked in oncology and ophthalmology at FVS, which is now Blue Pearl in Tampa and has also worked in two emergency hospitals.

Jennifer has three great danes, a maltese, a sheltie mix, a calico, and two tabbys. Jennifer loves to write, sing and play softball as well as read. Jennifer loves learning and is always up for learning something new everyday!

Certified Veterinary Technician Stephanie Kelley has been with Partridge Animal Hospital since February of 2014 and works with the veterinarians assisting the veterinarian in the exam room, getting vitals, drawing blood, placing IV catheters, filling prescriptions, client communication, administering medications and fluids, and taking radiographs. Stephane has an AA degree in Natural Science and is going back to pursue a degree in Business Administration.

Stephanne has lots of pets… Clara, Sandy, Ryder, Danieri & Roscoe, Mojo Hoodi, Maynard, and five chickens for fresh eggs! Stephanne loves cooking, beer & wine making, going to the gym, kayaking, riding ATVs, reading, gardening.

staffErin Marshall

Receptionist Erin Marshall is relatively new to the Partridge Animal Hospital, however, we love having her around. She is in charge of making appointments, checking clients in and out, customer service, and assisting the technicians and doctors when needed. She is an animal lover, which is why her favorite part of the job is being around the animals all day.

Erin has two cats named Macaroni and Ikea. She spends her free time camping, hiking, bicycling, cooking, hair styling, singing, playing guitar, watching movies, and traveling.

staffKristin Sauer

Kristin Sauer has been a receptionist with Partridge Animal Hospital since August 2016. She has been working in animal hospitals for over 12 years, making appointments and helping pets along the way. Kristin loves meeting new clients and being in a field that helps animals.

When she isn’t meeting new furry friends and their parents, Kristin enjoys cooking and spending time outside camping and skiing or being at the beach. She also is the mother to one crazy Catahoula mix named “Lita” who is 6 years old.

Certified Veterinary Technician Sammi Dusché has been with Partridge Animal hospital since August 2016 and works with the veterinarians assisting in orthopedic surgeries, dentals, lab work, and communicating with clients. She is currently earning her Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Technology from St. Petersburg College.

When she isn’t spending time with her 8-year-old Golden German Shepherd Mix “Princess” and her baby kitten “Ehrlich” she enjoys traveling, kayaking, and playing the Piano.

“I love our hardworking staff that has the highest level of patient care. We are a hospital that keeps expanding and sees a variety of different cases.”

staffCaitlynne Owens

Certified Veterinary Technician Caitlynne Owens has been with Partridge Animal hospital since August of 2016 and works with the doctors assisting in appointments, laboratory work, prepping for surgery, filling prescriptions, and dental cleanings. She earned her Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology from Hillsborough Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota. Her favorite part of working at Partridge Animal Hospital is reading and preparing samples to look at under the microscope, and interacting with clients and their furry loved ones.

When she isn’t spending time with her Shetland Sheepdog, Lea, and her Domestic Shorthair, Primrose, she enjoys going to Disney World with her family, singing, playing soccer and tennis, and traveling.

staffShawn Warren

Veterinary Technician Assistant, Shawn Warren, has been with Partridge Animal Hospital since November 2016. He helps keep the hospital clean, checks on the patients, takes them on walks, and holds the animals. Shawn's favorite part of working at Partridge Animal Hospital is assisting with surgeries.

When he is not spending time with his 1-year-old cat, Gillian, and his 5-month kitten, Panther, he enjoys reading, practicing martial arts, and working on cars.

 "I enjoy working at here because this is an environment where a person can grow into the position they have. There is a strive for constant improvement."

staffMichaella Hayes

Veterinary Technician Michaella Hayes has been with Partridge Animal Hospital since August 2016. She has her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Florida and is currently taking classes to apply to Veterinary School. Michaella helps the doctors and technicians, keeping the hospital clean, assisting with patient exams, and caring for the hospitalized patients.

When not bringing her positive attitude and great sense of humor to our animal hospital, Michaella spends time with her--sometimes unruly-- 6-month-old domestic short hair Oliver. She also enjoys crocheting, painting, hiking, traveling, and yoga.

"We provide the highest quality of patient care because the staff and doctors are extremely hardworking,  knowledgeable, and passionate. This hospital is a fast paced learning environment where I learn something new everyday. Working here has given me invaluable experience in the veterinary field and makes me excited to become and veterinarian in the future."
